Q: How does the Ontario ADP grant and private insurance work?

A: We help you navigate the financial support available to Canadian residents:

  • Ontario ADP: The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) covers $195 per side for full breast prosthetics every 2 years. GraceMd helps you complete the required application paperwork in-store.
  • Private Insurance: Providers like Sun Life, Manulife, and Canada Life typically cover prescribed post-surgery garments. We provide the fully itemized medical invoices required for your claims.

Products & Lifestyle

Q: Surgical Bra vs. Mastectomy Bra: What is the difference?

A: They serve two entirely different stages of your recovery journey:

  • Surgical / Compression Bras: Worn immediately post-op. They feature front-zipper closures and targeted compression to manage swelling and support healing tissue.
  • Mastectomy Bras: Worn long-term after your incisions have completely healed. They feature integrated interior fabric pockets to securely hold a prosthesis without slipping.

Q: Do you offer non-silicone forms, swimwear, and inclusive options?

A: Yes. We cater to all specific post-surgery and lifestyle needs:

  • Foam Breast Forms: Lightweight, breathable non-silicone options ideal for sleeping, lounging, or immediate post-op healing.
  • Mastectomy Swimwear: Pocketed swimsuits featuring high necklines paired with chlorine-resistant, waterproof swim prostheses.
