Mastectomy Bras

Mastectomy Bras, known as Breast Form Bras, are bras specially designed with pocket to insert breast forms or breast prosthesis after mastectomy. It is not unusual to refer to these bras as - after mastectomy bra, prosthesis bra, pocketed bra, post surgery bra, post op bra, all these terms are used to describe special bras with bra cups lined with inside pockets. Bra pockets hold breast forms or breast prosthesis securely in place inside the bra cup and prevent them from falling off. Pocketed bras or mastectomy bras are uniquely designed to accommodate all shapes of prosthetic breasts and project them to look natural. Mastectomy bra could be worn by women with smaller breasts or Poland's syndrome who want inserts to enhance their current breast size by increasing the cup size ; or for the enhancement of the under developed breast to become symmetrical with the normal sized breast.

Mastectomy bras come in a variety of styles such as non-wire or wire free bra, wired or underwire bras , non-padded bra, padded bra, seamless bra or T-Shirt Bra, front closure bras, cotton bras, after mastectomy camisole, compression post surgery bras, surgery recovery bras, and mastectomy sport bra.
